This would be current day city office west to the bank. Look at the awing buckling under the weight. Now we know why the awing are no longer up.
Winter Storm of 1911-1912 information states it snowed for 40 days straight. Compare this photo to the last one. Most of the awnings are gone now.
This is not from Facebook it is an actual photo here at the museum from the winter 1911-1912 storm.
Picture says it all, "Wrecked and Snow Bond February 25th to 28, 1912 Arnold Kansas". They are standing on a train engine.
