Lane County Historical Museum:

Larry Caldwell, author of Harbinger to Death, has written another book entitled, Mystery at Squaws Den. The story, whose setting is in Scott County, Kansas, is fiction. 

However, in order to bring the reader to a better understanding of its contents, Caldwell has written factual, background information of the Northern Cheyenne Exodus in his book’s Prologue.  Combining fact and fiction, Caldwell creates a story that will keep the reader both intrigued and captivated.
